Kick-Off for National Tour by Oakland Author
Just about everyone has their own bad boss story or knows someone who does as Oakland book author, business consultant, screenplay writer and game designer Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D. found in writing her latest book. Its A Survival Guide for Working with Bad Bosses from AMACOM, a division of the American Management Association. And to celebrate its publication, she and several associates are organizing a BAD BOSSES BASH. Its a gala party to have fun with, talk about, and learn what to do about bad bosses, to be held on Wednesday, Dec. 7 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Linen Life Park Avenue Gallery, 1375 Park Avenue, Emeryville. The public is invited and there is no charge. The book itself is a follow-up to the very successful A SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR WORKING WITH HUMANS, also from AMACOM. It features a series of short stories from people with different types of bad bosses, followed by a list of possible alternatives, a discussion of the best approach, and take-away tips for dealing with your own boss or being a better boss.
